How to use

  1. 1Drop a JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC photo into the upload box, or click it to browse your files.
  2. 2Wait a few seconds while the AI model detects the subject and removes the background.
  3. 3Drag the before/after slider to compare the cut-out against your original photo, and use 'Refine edges' to brush back or erase any edges the AI missed.
  4. 4Keep the background transparent or replace it with a colour, a blurred copy of your photo or an image of your own; add a shadow or crop to the subject if you like.

Privacy: Removing the background runs on our server, since the AI model is too heavy to run in a browser — but your photo is used only to generate your result and is deleted from the server shortly after processing. We don't retain, review or train models on uploaded photos. Changing the background, refining edges and downloading all happen in your browser.
