Files processed on your device

Most of our tools (including image compression, resizing, conversion, PDF editing, merging, splitting and OCR) process your files entirely on your device — in your browser on the website, or on your phone in the app. Those files never leave your device and are never sent to us. On the website you can check this by running a browser tool in Airplane Mode or watching the Network panel in your browser’s developer tools.

AI image tools: Background Remover, Image Upscaler and optional AI steps

The Background Remover and Image Upscaler run neural networks too large for your device, and the Passport Photo tools (AI white background option), Logo Background Remover (AI cut-out mode) and Photo Enlarger (AI detail step) use the same service when you choose those options. The image you choose is then sent over an encrypted (TLS) connection to our server, processed, and the result is returned to you. To do that, the server keeps the files for a short time and then deletes them automatically:

• Your uploaded image: deleted within 1 hour.
• The finished result: deleted within 6 hours, so you have time to download it.
• A job record (file name, size, processing status and your IP address, used to prevent abuse and apply fair-use limits): deleted after 24 hours.

We do not review, inspect, sell, share or train models on the content of your files, and we keep no backups or long-term copies of them.

AI YouTube Content Planner

This tool uploads no files. To write a plan, the channel details you type (name, category, niche, audience, language and similar settings), the trends and topics you choose, and a short list of past video titles (if channel memory is on) are sent over an encrypted connection to our server and on to Groq, Inc., which runs the AI model, under Groq’s own privacy terms. Please don’t type personal information into these fields.

• Generated answers are cached on our server for up to 6 hours so identical requests are answered instantly.
• Your IP address is held in server memory for about 10 minutes to apply fair-use limits. It is not written to disk.
• Your plans, edits, likes and channel memory are stored only in your browser’s local storage.

IP, DNS and lookup tools

The My IP Address and IP Lookup tools ask outside services to answer from your browser: api.ipify.org and ipwho.is (and freeipapi.com as a fallback) receive your public IP address, or the address you type in, and the IP Lookup map is an OpenStreetMap embed. Those services have their own privacy terms. The DNS Lookup tool sends the domain name you type to our server, which looks it up in public DNS and returns the records, so only enter public domain names. Like any web server, ours may record standard request details such as IP address and time in short-lived logs for security and troubleshooting.

Advertising

Ads help pay for hosting so every tool stays free. On the website, ads from Google AdSense appear on our guide pages and are not placed next to the tools; the app shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may use cookies (on the website) or your device’s advertising ID (in the app), together with your IP address, approximate location and how you interact with ads. Ads are personalised only where you have given consent.

On the website, advertising cookies stay off until you accept them in the cookie banner. In the app, users in regions that require it (such as the EEA and UK) are asked for consent first and can change their choice later under Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Android settings. Learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com. You can turn off personalised ads from Google at any time in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalised ads from other ad companies at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).

Analytics and cookies (website)

The website uses Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and to find problems. You can turn analytics cookies off by choosing “Decline” in the cookie banner. Your cookie choice and theme preference are stored in your browser’s local storage. The app does not use analytics.

App permissions

• Internet: for the AI tools and for ads.
• Photos: chosen with Android’s system photo picker, so the app only sees the photos you pick, never your whole gallery.
• Storage (Android 9 and older only): to save results to your gallery.
• Documents are opened and saved with the system file picker, which needs no permission.

No accounts

ProCutOut has no sign-up and no user accounts. We don't ask for your name or email to use any tool, and we keep no profile about you. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Children

ProCutOut is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we don't require accounts and delete uploaded files automatically, there is typically little to nothing retained beyond the short-lived records described above.
