PDF & Document Tools
Turn images into PDFs, merge, split, compress, convert and edit PDF files.
Which tool do I need?
Merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, signing and most conversions happen in your browser, so the PDF stays on your device. That matters for the kind of files people usually work on here: bank statements, ID documents and contracts.

Questions
- How do I get a PDF under 200 KB?
- Most big PDFs are big because of scanned pages or photos. Compressing those images is what brings the size down, so a scanned 3-page document usually fits under 200 KB, while a 40-page brochure full of photos may not without losing readability.
- Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
- Run it through PDF OCR first so the text becomes real text, then convert. A scan without OCR is just pictures of pages, so the Word file would contain images, not editable text.
- Is it safe to unlock or sign a PDF here?
- Yes: both run in your browser and the file isn't uploaded. Unlocking needs the password; it removes the password from a file you're allowed to open, it doesn't crack one.
