This free online PDF rotator fixes sideways and upside-down pages without re-scanning, re-printing, or opening a desktop PDF editor. It's built for the moment a scanner feeds a page in landscape when everything else is portrait, a phone-scanned document lands upside down, or a PDF you received just doesn't sit right on screen — every page renders as a real thumbnail the instant you upload, so you rotate by looking at your actual document instead of guessing which pages need fixing.

Rotate a single page, a handful of pages, or the whole document at once. Click the rotate-left or rotate-right control under any thumbnail to turn that page 90° at a time — click twice for 180°, three times for 270° — and watch the preview update instantly so you know exactly how the final PDF will look before you download anything. Need to fix an entire scan batch that came in sideways? "Rotate all left" and "Rotate all right" apply the same turn to every page in one click, and a Reset button clears every rotation if you change your mind.

Unlike tools that rebuild your PDF from flattened page images, this rotator writes the rotation directly into each page's PDF metadata using pdf-lib — the same approach a native desktop PDF application uses. Your original page content, whether it's scanned images, native text or vector graphics, is left completely untouched; only the page's orientation flag changes, so file size, text selectability and print quality stay exactly as they were. That also means rotation is lossless and instant, with no re-rendering or recompression step to wait on.

Because everything — reading the PDF, rendering thumbnails and applying the rotation — happens locally using PDF.js and pdf-lib running in your browser, the file never gets uploaded anywhere. That makes it safe for contracts, ID scans, medical forms or any document you'd rather not send to a server, and it works identically well on a phone, tablet or laptop since there's no upload wait and no server queue to sit in.
