Network type is a guess from the ISP and ASN names, not a VPN or proxy check. Next: check a domain's DNS records or see your own IP address.
How to use
- 1Enter any IPv4, IPv6 address, or domain name (e.g. 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, or github.com) into the search box, or click a quick sample preset.
- 2Click 'Lookup IP' or press Enter to immediately query global geolocation and BGP routing registries.
- 3Review the Target Summary card for the IP address, country flag, city, provider, and a best guess at the network type (hosting / data centre, mobile, or home broadband — a guess from the provider name, not a VPN check).
- 4Examine the 2-column Detail Grid for postal codes, ASN numbers, reverse DNS hostnames, and coordinates, and use 'Copy Link' to share a link that opens the same lookup.
- 5To check many addresses, switch to 'Bulk lookup', paste up to 50 IPs or domains, and export the results table as a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets.
Privacy: ProCutOut does not keep a history of your lookups (the 'Recent' list is stored only in your browser). Your browser sends the address you type to public IP services (ipwho.is and freeipapi.com), and domain names to Google's public DNS (dns.google) to find their IP; these services see it to answer. The map is an OpenStreetMap embed.
